Founded in 2019, Dandelions Are Flowers Too Youth Services Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Newburgh, New York, dedicated to dismantling the school-to-prison pipeline and creating brighter futures for youth, particularly students of color and those from underserved and marginalized communities. Restorative justice circles are at the heart of our work, providing young people with a safe space for self-expression, connection, and healing. Guided by the CASEL framework, our social-emotional learning curriculum helps students strengthen their emotional intelligence, social awareness, and self-management skills, empowering them to navigate life’s challenges, make healthier choices, and succeed both in and beyond the classroom.
